Cutting Timber with a Slabbing Mill
A simple and less expensive alternative for chainsaw milling is the ‘slab mill’ attachment.

No modifications are required to mount the saw to the Mill it simply clamps to the bar, it couldn't be easier.

After the face of a log has been prepared, planks of a consistent thickness can be cut by setting the slab mill attachment to the required depth.

A useful attachment to the slab mill is Westford's weatherboard attachment which will produce your weatherboard profile planks to a set thickness.
